Baby monster are the first evolution stage of a Monster, they can be hatched from monster eggs, which you have to buy from the shop. Unlike the other evolution stages, babies only need to be fed, and to be played with, and the player can't put them in the battlefield nor a habitat, they can only stay in the Nursery (the barn) until they evolve into level 1 monsters, afterwards, the player can move them in habitats and let them participate in any battles. (Once the player have moved a monster into a habitat, they can't move them back into the nursery)
